NXGN Uprights Structural Drawings & Load Ratings

NXGN Uprights

Uprights are metal brackets fabricated from Mild Steel that are designed to be fixed to the Hoarding Studs and Upright Studs.

Weight Blocks are placed on the Upright Foot to make the hoarding free stand without fixing to mall ceilings or floors.

Upright Fabrication Welding & Material Specification

Uprights are broken down into a few components:

• 950mm Stud Receiver - 75 x 4mm Flat Bar
• 1100mm Upright Horizontal - 50 x 50 x 1.6mm RHS
• 350mm Upright Foot - 50 x 50 x 1.6mm RHS
• 100mm Weight Locators - 25 x 25 x 1.6mm RHS

Stud Receiver:

The Stud Receiver has 30mm butt welds flush to the face of the Upright Horizontal & internal fillet welds to the Upright Horizontal Top Middle & Bottom.

Upright Horizontal

The Upright Horizontal is butt & fillet welded around all edges to the Upright Foot

Weight Locators

The Weight Locators are welded are tack welded on all corners to the Upright Foot.

Stud Receiver Setout

The Stud receiver has 6 x 8mm holes drilled for the "Stud Fixing Holes" & 3x 20mm holes drilled for the "Tamper Proof Holes".

Stud Fixing Holes

The vertical Stud Fixing Holes are spaced 10mm from the front of the Stud Receiver, the second is spaced 48mm from the front of the Stud Receiver.

Horizontal Hole Setout:

• Top: 2x 4mm DIA holes 50mm from the top of the Stud Receiver
• Middle: 2x 4mm DIA holes 475mm from the top of the Stud Receiver
• Bottom: 2x 4mm DIA holes 850mm from the top of the Stud Receiver

Tamper Proof Holes

Tamper Proof vertical holes are spaced 22.5mm from the front of the Stud Receiver.

Horizontal Hole Setout:

• Bottom: 20mm DIA hole 400mm from the bottom of the Stud Receiver
• Middle: 20mm DIA hole 600mm from the bottom of the Stud Receiver
• Top: 20mm DIA hole 870mm from the bottom of the Stud Receiver

Logo Measurements

Some Stud Receivers may have CNC cut branding placed 12.5mm from the horizontal edges & 5mm from the top of the Stud Receiver.

Weight Locator Setout

Setouts of the Weight Locators on the Upright Foot may will slightly depending on the Weight Block Type.

NXGN Uprights - Load Ratings & Weight Blocks

Upright Load Ratings will vary depending on the the amount of Weight Blocks placed Upright & the desired Panel Height of the hoarding.

The amount of Weight Blocks required Upright will vary depending on the Weight Block Type.

Weight Blocks Installation

Weight Blocks are required to be installed in Sequential order as detailed in "NXGN Load Ratings - Weight Block Installation".

Weight Blocks are installed parallel to the hoarding face, sometimes Offset Uprights may be required when Weight Blocks will interfere with doorways or protrude past the hoarding.
