Use your workshop to prepare hoardings, or have your preferred fabricator make the uprights. Contractors and owners can access the drawings without a proprietary installation licence fee or an exclusive installer network.

02 / Prepare your plan and materials
Plan for your next job.
Measure the site, choose the hoarding height and mark doors, corners and changes in direction. Choose timber panels for quick assembly or sheet skins when compact storage matters more.
The paid NXGN app lets you draw a plan in 2D, review it in 3D and calculate how many panels, uprights, counterweights and doors you need.

03 / Build your upright inventory

04 / Timber panels for regular installations
Prepare off-site. Assemble quickly.
Timber panels suit hoarding contractors who install regularly and have workshop and storage space. Prepare the timber frames and MDF or plywood skins off-site so your installers arrive with panels ready to assemble.
- Build panels to the sizes, materials and fixing details in the drawings.
- Prepare door heads, corners and skirting to suit the plan, and allow for panel transport and handling.
- Remove and inspect the panels after each job. Repair where needed, then store suitable panels ready to reinstall.
05 / Sheet skins for occasional installations
Less bulk to store between jobs.
MDF, melamine or plywood skins suit shopfitters and small contractors who install occasionally. Store and transport the sheets and timber studs separately, then assemble the hoardings on site using the practical hoarding guide.
- Keep sheet skins and studs in compact storage between jobs.
- Allow space and time on site for storage, cutting and assembly.
- Follow the specified sheet thicknesses, upright positions, doorway frames and fixing details.
06 / Source your counterweights
Source locally. Reuse between jobs.
NXGN uses compatible standard temporary fencing counterweights. Check the counterweights in your existing equipment first, then hire or buy any extras from your preferred supplier.
- Check the counterweight type, mass and fit against the documented arrangement.
- Use the load-rating details to work out how many counterweights the job needs.
- Remove, inspect and store suitable counterweights for reuse on your next job.
07 / Plan and install
Give your installers the plan and guide.
Have competent installers follow the manual for your chosen construction method. Give them the site measurements, plan and materials list before work starts.
The NXGN system is pre-engineered and certified to AS 4687 for its documented configurations. Follow the specified construction details and design criteria for your installation.
